Jon stands for limited Constitutional government based on the principles of the Founding Fathers. Jon stands for the middle class who have suffered unduly under the thumb of an uncaring progressive government. Jon stands for the traditional values that made America great!
Jon is tired of the progressive tax-and-spend philosophy which dominates our state government. He knows that what we need to do is to not have “smart spending” but a reduction in government spending. He has always fought to reign in the excessive growth of government. He plans to sponsor bills to cut property and sales taxes which have their greatest impact upon the elderly who are on fixed incomes.
ISSUES
Economy
Jon wants to bring jobs to Nevada by making our state once again the most business friendly in the country. He intends to fight to lower taxes for not only companies but individuals. He seeks to remove burdensome regulations which are strangling the entrepreneurs in our state.
Education
Unlike his opponents, Jon understands that you cannot solve the problems in education by throwing more money at it. He realizes that what we need is school choice, for competition will improve the quality of the education our children receive.
Pro-Life
Jon believes in the sanctity of human life from viability to natural death. He believes that all human life is precious and seeks to protect those who are least able to protect themselves.
Traditional Marriage
Jon supports traditional marriage being between one man and one woman. He sees marriage as a sacrament which should not be controlled by the government.
